Through the new partnership, To The Point Company’s consultants will use ModelMatic for process analysis with their clients. To The Point Company and ModelMatic share the same view of AI in process analysis. For both, a process model created by AI is the starting point for the conversation with stakeholders, not a finished product. Asking follow-up questions, testing assumptions and getting to know the organisation remain the consultant’s work. ModelMatic is built for that. The platform flags bottlenecks and open questions, so it is immediately clear where more questions are needed.
The two companies also complement each other. To The Point Company brings experience in business analysis, process analysis and guiding change programmes. ModelMatic specialises in AI for process modelling in BPMN and speeds up the writing up and drawing. The platform turns conversations, documents and existing diagrams into editable process models, including the documentation that goes with them.
The models are built in BPMN 2.0, the international standard for process models. Clients can therefore also use them in their existing workflow management system to automate or orchestrate processes.
To The Point Company will use ModelMatic in assignments where processes are mapped or redesigned. Much of the time in these assignments goes into writing up interviews and workshops. Notes are structured, process steps described, exceptions captured and models drawn. ModelMatic speeds up that work.
The first model then forms the basis for validation with stakeholders. Do the people involved recognise the process, are the exceptions captured correctly or are any steps missing? Because the first model is ready quickly, validation can take place in the same session. Errors are corrected straight away instead of surfacing only after everything has been written up by hand.
A process model alone is often not enough to change a process or explain it to new employees. That is why ModelMatic also produces work instructions, RACI matrices and user stories from the validated model. At every step, the consultant stays in control of what is changed, added or approved in ModelMatic.
